FREE Webinar: Advances in Nuclear Medicine and PET Quality Control
About this Program
In this free webinar, Atirix explores the latest in TJC and ACR regulations and the technology available to meet those requirements and be always inspection ready. The presenters begin with an overview of Nuc Med and PET Quality Control and then present a deeper look at the key tests with considerations for systems with CZT detectors. They will then discuss phantom image analysis tools to increase QC sensitivity to changes in imaging performance. They will also describe ways facilities are using paperless QC technologies to streamline QC, reduce paper, and maintain inspection readiness. The presenters will additionally explore case studies that highlight the benefits of increased QC sensitivity and discuss the latest QC research and trends.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this webinar, attendees will:
- Be able to describe the unique aspects of a Nuc Med and PET department that make QC more complex
- Gain a deeper grasp on uniformity measurements in Nuc Med
- Understand the value and challenges of resolution measurements for SPECT
- Consider the unique aspects of systems with CZT detectors for both uniformity and resolution
- Gain appreciation for how a paperless QC system can be an important tool for the QC team and describe the features and benefits of a QC system
