About this Program

Osteoporosis is a major health problem that affects 54 million people. Recent medical breakthroughs and studies have created hope and healing for those who are diagnosed early. Facilities are recognizing the importance of early diagnosis due to DXA technologies. This registry review webinar series provides a solid foundation in densitometry imaging knowledge and gives technologists like you an even better understanding of the appropriate use and interpretation of this technology.

Interested in education credits and exam preparation for ARRT or ISCD certifications? This webinar series also offers valuable instruction and insights for the ARRT or ISCD Bone Densitometry Certification Examinations.

Each webinar session provides 4 Category A credits. Attendance in all 4 sessions provides the 16 hours of structured education related to the content specifications outlined by the ARRT, required for DEXA scan certification and registration.

A printable download will be available to each registrant prior to this bone densitometry certification registry review webinar. This will allow you to follow along with the registry review presentation and make notes as you feel necessary.

This webinar will be presented in four 3.5-hour, 4-credit sessions. Tuition listed is per session.

The instructors who lead our webinars to help prepare for bone densitometry certification, ISCD certification, or DEXA scan certification are true professionals with years of experience in their fields. They are ready, willing, and able to share that test prep expertise with you.

Interested in earning or maintaining ARRT or ISCD certifications for DXA/DEXA? This registry review series offers the continuing education credits as detailed on the 'Credits' tab.

What Is Bone Densitometry?

Bone densitometry is a low-dose X-ray that helps technologists measure bone minerals such as calcium and vitamin D to gauge bone strength and thickness. Properly done by a healthcare professional with relevant credentials, such as DEXA scan certification or ISCD certification, this information can help medical teams diagnose and start treatment options for osteoporosis and osteopenia.
