Help prevent breast cancer through better diagnostics
This hands-on mammography positioning training course is designed to enhance your current positioning skills and take them to the next level. Learn the importance of establishing a proper workflow order and how to enhance your interdepartmental communication by gathering detailed patient history and setting department protocols. Review the eight image quality attributes for clinical image review that you should use daily and during your EQUIP reviews.
MTMI’s Mammography Training Center of Excellence staff will provide you with a comprehensive review of mammography positioning techniques essential to executing quality mammograms for both screening and diagnostic workflows. By the end of this weekend's event, you will leave rejuvenated with tips and tricks on improving your image quality, improving your patient's experience and aiding in the fight to end breast cancer!
Hands-on sessions with field-experienced mammography educators will thoroughly review:

Through interactive demonstrations and one-on-one guidance, you’ll refine your positioning techniques and develop skills that enhance both image quality and patient care. Meet your presenter(s)

Amber Connell
RT(R)(M)(CT)
Amber has been a registered Radiologic Technologist with the ARRT since 2009. She specialized in Mammography in 2011 through MTMI and in Computed Tomography in 2012. Since 2011, she has also been performing Bone Density exams. Amber's career has primarily been in a women's oncology practice, but she has also served as a Clinical Applications Specialist for a leading AI and Breast Imaging company. During that time, Amber oversaw the largest breast program in Western North Carolina.
Currently, Amber works as a mammography technologist at a regional hospital in Western North Carolina. As an MTMI instructor, she teaches hands-on advanced mammography positioning for new and experienced mammography technologists looking to enhance their skills. With 14 years of experience in mammography, Amber brings a wealth of knowledge and practical tips to this course.

Category A/A+ CE credit is pending approval by the ASRT. An application for 15 hours of credit for radiologic technologists recognized by the ARRT® and various licensure states has been filed.

Qualifying 'Early' registrations must be made at least 21 days in advance for the program.
Cancellation Policy
Courses
Refunds, minus a $50 processing fee, will be granted for cancellations received prior to 3 days before the program. Cancellations received within 3 days of the program will receive a credit toward a future MTMI program, minus the $50 processing fee. No refunds will be made after the program starts. MTMI reserves the right to cancel any scheduled program because of low advance registration or other reasons. MTMI’s liability is limited to a refund of any program tuition paid. MTMI recommends that attendees use refundable airline tickets. In case of cancellation of a program for any reason, MTMI is not responsible for travel costs incurred by attendees including non-refundable airline tickets. When offered, WEBINAR ATTENDEES that cannot log in due to unsolvable technical issues beyond their control will be eligible for a full refund.
