This program will explore the fundamentals and parameters of MR imaging. The instructors will take the student through the basic principles of magnetic resonance imaging and provide a great review for technologists of all skill levels.

Educational Objectives

  • Review the basic principles of magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Gain an understanding of the basic principles of magnetic resonance imaging.
  • Recognize artifacts seen on MRI images and discuss how they are caused and prevention
  • Describe various MR parameters, their function, and trade-offs regarding image optimization.
