About this Program

This course is designed to improve your understanding of what dense breast is and how it is determined. You’ll learn what dense breast looks like in mammography and discover how difficult it is to find some anomalies in patients with dense breasts. We’ll discuss other imaging modalities used for supplemental views on patients with dense breast. Overall, you will appreciate the difficulty of finding cancers in patients with dense breast and discover the efforts to ensure these patients have the best diagnosis available, including the use of artificial intelligence.
